What are the library’s operating hours?

The library is open:

  • Monday: 10:00 AM – 4:30 PM
  • Tuesday to Thursday: 10:00 AM – 8:00 PM
  • Friday: 10:00 AM – 4:30 PM
  • Saturday: 10:00 AM – 4:30 PM
  • Sunday: Closed

Note: Closed on Saturdays of Long Weekends.

How do I get a library card?



Can I renew books online?

Yes, you can renew your borrowed books online through your library account on our website. Alternatively, you can call the library for assistance with renewals.



How many items can I borrow at once?

You can borrow up to 200 physical items and 10 digital items through Libby. However, if you have a limited-use card (for individuals without proper ID), you may borrow 2 physical items and do not have access to digital resources.

What is the loan period for borrowed items?

  • Books: 3 weeks
  • DVDs: 1 week
  • Magazines: 3 weeks
  • Audiobooks: 3 weeks

Please note that magazines and story sacks cannot be renewed. For DVDs, contact the circulation staff to request a renewal as a fee is involved.

How do I request a book or other materials that are not in the library?

You can use the Book Request Form available on our website or visit the front desk to place a request for specific items.



Does the library offer digital resources?

Yes! The Jake Epp Library offers e-books, audiobooks, and digital magazines through the Libby app. We also provide access to databases like EBSCO. Visit our Library 24/7 page for more information.



How do I access the digital magazine service?

To access our digital magazines, visit the Digital Magazine section of our website and log in using your library card number (account number 904153175). Currently, we offer one magazine for access.

Can I reserve a room at the library?

Yes, we have study rooms available for reservation. You can contact the front desk or send us an email. We currently offer two one-person pods and one four-person pod.



Does the library offer exam invigilation services?

Yes, we provide exam invigilation services. You can use our online form to request an invigilation appointment. Fees may apply, so please contact the library for details.



How do I volunteer at the library?

If you’re interested in volunteering, you can fill out our Volunteer Application Form online or pick up a paper application at the front desk.



Is there a public computer or Wi-Fi available?

Yes, we provide free Wi-Fi and public computers for library patrons. You can also print, copy, and scan documents for a small fee.






Can I donate books to the library?

The library accepts donations, but we do not accept non-fiction items older than five years or any kind of textbooks. Please contact the library to arrange a donation drop-off.
